How safe is the Volkswagen CC?
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) only assessed the 2017 Volkswagen CC’s rollover crash test. The federal agency assigned the rollover test a four-star safety grade out of five. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) assigned a marginal grade to the small overlap front test, which is below average. All other IIHS crash testing resulted in an excellent safety rating, the best attainable.
Lane departure warning, automated post-collision braking, and blind spot monitoring are all standard on the Volkswagen CC model.
